So far, I find my Nolan to be the best helmet I've used. I ride without a windshield.
&nbsp\\;
+1. The Nolan N102 is the best one I have used.

I like my HJC helmets. You can pick a good one up on EBay brand new for around $100

I use the Shoei&nbsp\\; TZR and have no problems.&nbsp\\; But, when it is time, I do plan on upgrading to the RF1000 or X11.

I have a Bell Sprint, and i also just picked up one of these Caberg Solos on&nbsp\\;closeout from ironpony.com:
&nbsp\\;
i paid $99 but they're $75 now...
&nbsp\\;
they have the dark visor that you can slide down like sunglasses...very cool!
&nbsp\\;
it's a bit noisy and the neck strap on mine took a bit of getting used to because it seemed to be a bit farther back then my Bell, but overall i'm really happy with the quality for the price. (the original retail was $279)
&nbsp\\;
I got the flat black one and got my wife a gloss black one.

i use a modular helmet and love it best of both worlds can flip it up at slow speeds and puller down at high speeds but at seventy mph wind currents are going to push on any helmet. i agree tho try them out first got mine from jafrum

Helmetsrus is a good web site to get good helmets. Lots of different manufactuers and styles. I have a HJC for the bad weather times.

HJC is a good bang for buck. I wear Arai helmets because they are light, aerodynamic and EXCEED the minimum snell standards. I made a living as a medic for 9 years, I always wear a full face helmet

I just bought a Scorpion EXO 700 off eBay for about $150. They also had a few around $110. I think they retail for around $250. Snell and DOT certified.
