2007 XL50 Seat

2007 XL50 Seat
I'm looking for a sleek solo seat for my XL50. I'm searched these forums, read several reviews, followed links to multiple manufacturers, etc. Unfortunately it appears that every seat that I find that appeals to me isn't made for anything newer than a 2006. From what I can gather, the difference between 2006 and 2007+ is the location of the ECM?
I really like the look of the Le Pera Bare Bones LT, but again its 2006 and earlier.
Any suggestions for finding a 2007 seat?

RE: 2007 XL50 Seat
Get on those websites, find the "Contact Us" info and CALL or EMAIL them! I know for a fact that C&\\;C Seats offer solos for '07 and up but they haven't updated the website yet! \\;La Pera is probably the same...they are just too big and too Harley specific NOT to offer Sportster seats to accomodate the ECM. Mustang offers the newer seats and so does Corbin. Any decent seat manufacturer would be insane to totally exit the newer Sportster market by not offering updated seats.

BLK, That looks pretty good. What make/model is that seat?
agedwards63, I'll certainly let you know reference my stock seat. I plan to remove the passenger foot pegs when I put on new exhaust on this week, so I'll have no use for the stock seat. Until I started riding it last week the bike had less that 100 miles on it. I bought it new for my wife who just hasn't gotten into riding. After the rear brakes when out on my Road King I started riding the Sportster.
I sent Le Pera an email from their contact us page last night, waiting on a reply.
I was able to find Mustang and Corbin options, but after reading some reviews on here I wasn't sure if I wanted a Mustang or not. I've never heard anything but positive about Corbin, but that comes part and parcel with the price tag.
Thanks, guys.

RE: 2007 XL50 Seat
Standard 2007 HD Sportster solo seat. Purchased on ebay and had local company that does custom boat interiors re-upholster. The seat was $45. The upholstery to match the original was to be $75, plus $50 to embroider the Sportster logo to match the original. As it turned out they were unable to do the embroidery and did the re-upholstery FREE do to the delay.
My total cost 45 bucks.

RE: 2007 XL50 Seat
I received a response from Le Pera. They have a 2007 seat, but as indicated earlier in this thread, their website isn't up-to-date. Unfortunately there is a 3-4 week wait while they make the seat. They were kind enough to give me a list of local retailers, so I'm going to give them a ring tomorrow on the off-chance they have my seat in stock.
