No way would you get away with It over here,no matter who you know....3 points on your license (12 and your banned off the road) and a fixed fine for speeding,mebbee more If the cop thought you where racing and had a video....If you get stopped It's an automatic breath test....pint and a half of beer and you might fail.

It can actually be an immediate ban over here if you're caught doing 30mph over the speed limit in some circumstances.
