Never had the chance to ride on the STOCK seat as I had the "badlander" installed pre delivery.
And it took me 700 mi to change the settings on the stock shocks so now it rides MUCH better.
right now I'm just doing LOCAL riding mostly.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; If I plan on any LONG trips - I would get a more comfortable seat for long distances and NEW grips.( my hands get numb some times ) &nbsp\\;The shocks are good enough for me for 1 up riding.

 

I like my seat too, the rear shocks...not so much, I have them on the hardest setting for the twisties and its OK one up, no good at all with two up though.
I did sit on a low model at the dealer a while ago and&nbsp\\;that seat&nbsp\\;was real bad, I would have to change it if I had one of those.

 

Other than swapping my bars for Nightster bars, I like my stock setup.

 

If stock works for you, by all means stay with it.&nbsp\\; For me, the seat, suspension &amp\\; control mods worked out great.
