Default Lubing throttle cable

5K maintance due is there anything I need to watch out for when lubing the throttle cable other than the ferrels inside not to loose them. I really hate to open that **** up when nothing is wrong.

I am useing Dri-Slide as a lubricant, the H/D service manual recomends useing there oil a couple of drops, down the cable.

Dri-Slide is as good as it gets IMO and a few drops is all it takes.

As above - I did notice the clutch working easier after lubing

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I"m due for my 15k maintenance really soon. Can anyone here recommend the best way to accomplish this? I already have a copy of the shop manual and the Clymer manual for my bike ("05XL1200C). I"d rather hear it from the experts than a manual...
