well I was looking into a bigger bike since I am a bigger person and the damn dealer said they would give me 5500 bucks for my bike!!! Not a scratch on the girl either. I feel raped

 

its worth 8000 easy, find a place to put a sign on it, it will sell.. i wouldnt take a penny less then 9k for mine..

 

Put it on craigs list or ebay.&nbsp\\; I wouldn't take less than 8k.

 

Well, that's a little more than what they have all offered for mine...... Trade in is always less than retail, so if you want the most, you are going to have to sell it yourself.

 

What year is your bike?

 

Mines an 07 jalopy. I would rather trade it in than sell it out right cause it's just easier, however if there going to give me 5500 bucks then I'd rather pay it off and let it sit in my garage and finance a new bike. They called me back today and left a message on my phone saying " we talked it over with the manager and we got you more for your trade " haha they didn't say how much but I'm not interested. if there not going to treat me right from the beginning then they lost my business all together. I was planning on waiting till the winter anyway when the prices are low and the season is done and leftovers are plentiful.

I have an '06, 1200XLC - Stage 1 with V&amp\\;H pipes, sissy bar, luggage rack, Etc. Etc. At least 3,000 in accessories. Garage kept - not a scratch and the syealer offered me $5,000 trade in.
