I was looking at my scoot yesterday at work.....saw grease stains around right side of rear hub.........Hmmmm......Grabbed allen wrench and checked pully bolts......ALL were quite loose!......The heads of the bolts were almost impacting lower shock mount bolt!

I tightened them all and then today used loctite to retorque them.......That was a close call!

This bike has only 3K miles on it, so make sure to check yours

 

2004's and up.&nbsp\\; Earlier sporties have nylock nuts, Don't get me wrong, still a good idea to do a walkaround periodically.&nbsp\\;

 

Don't know about older scoots, but mine are socket head allen bolts....they were all quite loose......you would think dealer would check at 1K service

 

Yeah, no stuff man.&nbsp\\; One of many reasons I don't go to the stealers anymore.
