Are you short enough that your knee is under/behind the air cleaner?

People at work are looking strangely at me for laughing so hard!&nbsp\\; No offence taken, but no, I am not a little person - I am not real tall, either - I am 5'-11" w/ a 30" inseam.&nbsp\\;

I believe the 1200 low is listed on the recall to get new heat shields due to people burning their legs, could be wrong though. does the bike have mid controls ?

I just checked my wifes recall notice, and it lists the 1200 Low for 06 and 07 models but not 08 I would check with your dealer.
