Default exaust and rejet

should have my 06 1200 custom at the end of the month but the question i have
is i just bought a set of slash cut slipons and want to put these on as soon as i get it home
do i need to rejet for the pipes alone as i dont want to fit the hi flo air filter and rejet till first service

nope - without the increase in air, an increase in fule is not necessary - put um on dude

You generally shouldn't have to rejet for pipes, however it would make it run better as they are very lean from the factory to begin with and the pipes really do lean it a bit more.

I agree with molsenice and TCSTD. I have run SE II's and Cycle Shack slip-ons with no change in AC and no re-jet - without any problems whatsoever. If you increase the breathing with a new AC, a re-jet will be a must since the "pulmonary" part of your bike (intake and exhaust) will have been opened up; otherwise, you will be running dangerously lean. Changing pipes alone should not present a problem.

thanks guys just wanted to know as the bike will be new and dont want to do any damage before i do the rest of the
stage 1witch should only be a couple of weeks alfter
