The signal for "Cop Ahead" is to pat the top of your head-helmet.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ \\\\\\\\\\;
Well known in the sport bike crowd, seems to be less known by folks on cruisers
Probably because they are to busy worrying about waving.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Should I wave at a Cop on a metric wearing fingerless gloves and chaps?

Man, I now have this funny picture in my head.&nbsp\\; Picture riding along, and coming up on a group of 50+ Hells Angels going the other way, all patting their heads, to warn you about a cop ahead.

The motorcycle sign language book has the index finger in the air and twirl one listed but more common here in the PAC NW anyway is to tap your helmet.
I guess if you can ride no hands you could do both at the same time.

Just saw a sport biker do that yesterday. I figured that must be what he was trying to tell me. Sure enough, over the top of the hill a cop had somebody pulled over...
