I take a lot of backroads and thought a portable tire inflator would come in handy one day. I found this product--Slime 40001 Power Sport Tire Inflator--anyone familiar with this? This or Co2 I'm thinking of.

I robbed the guts out of a 10 buck Walmart inflator and have used the crap out of it. A couple of weeks ago, I brought the OL's car up from flat while we were at Myrtle.

I will definitely get one if my wheels aren't laced.

 

I carry a plug kit along with the CO2 set up. Hopefully never have to use either one.

 

The Slime pump is highly rated on the Adventure Rider forum. I have one and I carry a plug kit. I chose the pump over the CO2 cartridges because it will always work. The cartridges only give you one shot at getting the tire inflated. I've never had to use it.
