Default which pipes, opinions wanted

Hi all,

I'm currently looking into a set of new pipes for my 2005 XLC 1200. I'll be installing a Mikuni HSR42 and a Hypercharger AC.

So far I've narrowed the field down to the following.

2-2:

Traditional:

Bub Reinhart Stagered.
V&H Staight Shots.

A bit out there:

V&H Sideshots.

Getting radical:

Hooker Troublemakers Straight Cut.
Bassani Sweepers.

2-1:

V&H Pro Pipe.
Bub Rienhart 2-1.
Thunderheader.

Here in Japan the Thunderheader seems to be very popular, or could be that someone brought in a big shipment and are flogging them around to all the shops, anyone have any experience with it?

Anyway, would love to hear opinions on any of the above pipes or if you think I've missed the boat any other suggestions would be welcome.

Cheers,

Mark

I just installed a set of Samson Big Gun Street Sweepers and they sound awsome.

Definetly check out the samsons. Had them on my 05 1200 and the sound was incredible.

Took a look at the Samsons, the Big Guns 3 Slasher looks good.

Thanks,

I love the SideShots, they have performed VERY well on my application!

Hey, check out the V&H Short Shots... just saw a pair, and they KICK ***! And are cheaper too....

Let us know what you go with - cant go wrong with Vance & Hines IMO...
