I do not think there is a neat formula that says 10, 15 or whatever over the posted. Every road and subsequent corner is unique and needs to be treated as such. Seeing a 10mph sign for an upcoming curve and assuming you are safe at 20mph is a good way to get yourself killed one day. Trust me, there are some curves that ARE 10mph no matter what you're driving/riding.

I stay close to the speed limit, but if I'm within my comfort zone I'll push to the limit...but ya need to keep your head up an scan, scan and scan.

Depends on the curve. Unfamiliar curves I'll stick to what is posted. It also depends on my attitude or how I feel, how much I wanna push it or if I'm in a hurry.

No $hi7! I came up on a corner that was posted 10mph, at about 25. I did not make it.

I'm just glad there were no cars around to see.

Other times, in areas I know, the corner may be posted 25. I'll go in at about that, and exit near 50. When I'm going down an unknown set of twisties, I pretty much enter the turns at the suggested speed, and exit around 10 over. It all really depends on the road, traffic, weather etc.

If I have determined the curve is clean of gravel, I am comfortable with 10 mph over "suggested speed". If it is lousy with gravel, I may well be below the suggested speed.

I do not think in Ohio, the suggested speed for a curve is a legal speed limit.

Just ride within your ability and don't let it go over you head... what's the hurry anyway?

If I know the road 15-20 MPH over the posted limit(onmy sv650, havent tried it on the HD yet and prob won't)if I do not know the road I stay with in the limit, someone said earlier sometimes when its posted at 10MPH it really is 10MPH (don't ask me how I know).....Knowing the road is important if a decreasing radius turn pops up on you and your not ready for it be prepared to take a lil spill...( don't ask me how I know about that one either)

I actually feel more comfortable in the twisties than in city traffic. That being said I probably still don't exceed 10-15 over in the curves...yet.

I go very close to the posted speed. I don't need any thrills
