Ok... has anyone had any experience putting a sidekick on a Nightster?

I've got a great deal on a H.D. Model #52849-04 that says it fits '04 and later Xl models but the Harley we site notes the correct sidekick seat being model #52859-04A.

Does anyone know if the #52849-04 will work on a Nightster?

 

Don't think it will fit.... I just put a sidekick on my '07 1200 low... dealer tried to give me the -04 but I needed the -04A.... had to order it for me... the -04 won't work with the ECM on the fuel injected bikes (ECM is on top of the rear fender, under seat)... hope this helps.... only got a few rides on the new sidekick, but so far it feels better than the stock seat...
