Got news for you - EVERYONE has done this at least once. They just may not admit it!

 

It happens. with the 883 gearing, as long as you're not needing to take off quickly, or uphill, it's not a big deal. 1200, different story I suspect.

 

that and trying to find that 6th gear!

 

It usually happens when you are trying to show off and get a little attention from the cutie in the convertable!

Havent done it yet.... I have hit neutral a couple of times while accelerating though haha....Im not sure which sounds dumber...

 

Not me...I'm always in Neutral at a stop...ALWAYS. But then again...I try and make it a point to never have to come to a complete stop when I ride to work and back...I creep til the light turns green.

I've seen my sis do this though. It's no biggie...just don't be in a hurry and kick it into first with all that extra throttle...ya might crap your pants when the front wheel comes up .

 

just ride the clutch a little more and no one will notice

 

+1 All my riding is either on the freeway backroads and maybe 2 or 3 lights..so I try and creep around those suckers if I can.
