Can't wait till people start modifying their scooters...BADASS! haha...
They are already. I went into the city & stopped by 'Tulsa Scooters' ... my one track mind was thinking it was a motorcycle store.
I was checking on the Xena disk locks. Was looking around while she was on the phone with Xena ... and they have all kinds of art work/mods etc for them ... it really is a culture of its own. Some of the art work was awesome.
A customer walked in that she knew and she asked him if he was going to the scooter rally!! Wow ... you can learn something new every day.
They were really, really cool people too. She ordered me a Xena - gave the store demo model to use until mine came in ... just on my word. The demo modle is the top of line too. I am impressed and will never look at scooter people the same way.
Don't get me wrong - I never ever looked down on them like I was better. They just gained a whole lot more respect in my eyes after going in that store.

Im not saying that taking a MSF course or riders edge course , makes you a safe intelligent rider, but i think it should be mandatory to get your MC endorsement.

+1
It is a great experience, even for those "I have been riding 30+ years...seen and done it all" type of people.

I have to say even though this area has a lot of scoots there has been a big increase, especially in the smaller Jap bikes & scooters. I still couldn't bring myself to buy 1 of those fancy scooter for almost $10K. That is another Sportster or 2 used

I mean no disrespect to the girls in bathing suits. I'd just like them them to continue to be able to *wear* the bathing suits. Road rash... not so pretty...
