RE: First Bike? Was it a Ricer,or a Harley?
My first bike was on 04 Honda CBR 600RR. It was a great bike and wasn't to bad to learn on. I originally wanted a Harley and finally got to the point that I could sale the Honda and just picked up my Nightster two Saturdays ago. I love the bike and have already put forward controls and a PC III on, the V&H Black Staggered Short Shots will be on this Tuesday and I am already looking for an A/C. Man these things get expensive quick!lol

First "bike" at age 12 or so was some crazy homemade thing with a Briggs and Stratton motor. Later through my teens rode random borrowed dirtbikes a lot... everyone I knew had 1 or 2... Honda's, Kawis, Husky's. Fun! Then I got... a moped! Commuted 40 miles a day on that thing for a couple years. It was actually pretty fast... particularly down hill. Also, I was pretty broke and ran outta gas a lot, and I could pedal it home. I still can't believe the crazy sh*t I did on that thing. Had a little basket that held a bottle of JD very nicely. Stupid? Yes. But hey, it was the 70's. [sm=icon_rock.gif] Ya had to really try hard to get a DUI.[sm=guilty.gif] Then no consistent riding for about 25 years. First "real" bike was my '03 883. But I guess, since my original little minibike had a B&S motor, my first bike *was* American made.

My first bike was a shiny new 1966 Sears 3hp HARDTAIL! Followed by in order. Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley, Honda, BMW, Honda, Harley.
Sounds like a buttload of bikes but it'sspread outover a 40+ yr period od time so I guess it's just a sign I'm gettin old! [:-]

First road bike was a heavily used Honda CB 750 that I rode for 2 months before it completely quit. Was so heartbroken that my bride agreed to a then-brand-new 95 Suzuki Intruder. 5 years and 60k miles later, it went when more kids arrived.
Got the N last June and haven't looked back!
