mini rant!!1 UPDATE!
So I just got back from a very reputable Harley performance shop in my town. I was basically told that my setup was a piece of **** and I wasted my money. I know I could have spent less money on a better setup but damn. I told him what I had and he proceeds to show me all these dyno sheets of bikes that are making well into the 100's HP and TQ. What upset me was were any of these Sportsters...NO. The one Sportster he told me about made 90's HP and TQ essentially on heads alone. He basically told me to change everything in order to make more power. Tell me what you guys think and Harley Mechanics pipe in and let me know what you think.
883R w/ SE stage I air cleaner and SE II pipes (pre EPA crap) rejet 180 main 45 slow 44.6HP and 49.8 TQ
1200 upgrade:
SE stage 1 air cleaner
SE II pipes
1200 SE heads
1200 cylinders
1200 pistons
1200 ignition module
SE plug wires
SE plugs
push rods
SE .551 cams
same 180 main and 45 slow rejet
72.4 HP and 67.5 TQ I know some work needs to be done because the HP curve should be smooth and not falling off up top like it is. (especially with cams I have)

Getting from point A to point B is plenty quick with what you've alreadydone, and remember, over half the fun and enjoyment is the twisties on a Sportster and the ability to take in your surrounds as you ride. I personally think you've got a hot 883, but agree you've done TOO much to get it there. Maybe a different dyno, just in case his is off. If you don't like the results from what you've done, you'd better buy a Hyabusa or ZX14 and forget what riding a Harley is all about.

Don't get me wrong I love my Sportster and I am content with what I have done. The main reason I went in the first place was I was concerned that the bike needed to be rejetted after the conversion because of the drop off in power up top(the dyno's were done at a Harley dealership in town) and I wanted his opinion on it. If I can get that curve smoothed out I will be more than happy. Again, the most important thing for me is that the bike runs "correctly" with what is done.
I can understand where he is coming from not being impressed with my setup because he does build drag bikes but if it were me I would try and help someone with what they have and not tell them to change everything.

I agree that he could have, and should have, been more helpful rather than critical.

That's a good point. I'm running a Stage .5 on an otherwise stock 1200 with a 185 main. BUT, if needed, your dyno guy should have picked that up.

It looks like it's dropping off up top, maybe just a bigger main jet?

You are also probably stepping on your dong if you are running the SE Ignition module, the spark advance timing blows for your application. If you didn't see this thread I posted last week it will show you what I'm talking about.

Why would he show you bikes that are making numbers in the hundreds that are NOT comparable to yours? What difference does it make if some 110 cubic inch is posting higher numbers? The only results that would really be of value to you are dyno sheets from similar bikes with similar set-ups... This guy doesn't sound very helpful at all. If it were me, I'd be finding another dealer that treated me with a little more respect
