I just added bags to my Nightster for a trip I made this past weekend. I wanted to be able to bring my laptop home without having to wear a backpack. More pictuers in my album.

What bags are those? They look good and like they would hold quite a bit of stuff. Also, what brackets are you using? Thay work okay without moving the rear turn lights?

BOO67, here is the link to the bags i have on my nightster.

http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Lug...dlebags/SD4016

Honestly, I was a little dissapointed at first but for the price I decided to experiment.

I made a template of the inside of the bag from some cardboard and i transfered it to some 1/8" fiberboard I had lying around.

next, I held the cardboard next to the bike and located some mounting points and eyeballed the locations on to the cardbord then to the 1/8" fiberboard, layed the drilled fiberboard on to the back of the bags and drilled thru the leather. reverse the board and do oppisite side. I have four mounting points (8 holes drilled) on each side.

I am using 14" black tyewraps to mount to bike and bag. install all the tyewraps but do not tighten all the way, just snug one a little move to the next one so you get an even pressure.

I know its a little vague, I will try to get a picture of what the inside looks like tomorrow evening.
