As the subject reads, I am now in the process of buying my first scoot. I grew up riding dirt bikes pretty much my entire life so I have a little background on 2 wheels. I have enrolled in a BRC class for the begining of June as well. I have done a lot of research over the past few months trying figure out which bike I like best and which bike is the most practical for me. The Nightster IMO is probably the sickest looking bike and offers the best features to suit my needs for the money.
I do have a question regarding insurance. What companies and policies are you guys and gals using? Pricing?
I went with the Nightster last Saturday also, I am paying just over 200 a year for full coverage in Maine. I have been riding a crotch rocket with them for three years with no incidents.

I've got two Nightsters insrured in Cali by Farmers (policy from Foremost Ins. Grand Rapids- your neck of the woods) for $400 (anually for both). 1-800-527-3907
love them. standard baffles, pretty loud. 3 people last week asked me if i had a different cam put in lol. ive gotten compliments from cops. u can get quiet baffles for them if you want
I read another post of your's where you had "pooping" issues with the pipes. Do you know if the PCIII will void the HD warranty? I plan to run the Short Shots along with the SE A/C and some sort of tuner. I have heard the SE tuner will not void the warranty. Just curious.
