sissy bar mounting
I was wondering about mouting a sissy bar on my 2004 HD sportster 883 XL the sissy bar and mounting hardware is for a 2007 sportster 1200, because i put rear blinkers on that came off of a 2002 HD Super Glide will it still workout fine without modifications? thanks

I did mine on an 08 roadster. It was pretty straight forward. Took about an hour. Get your tools and something to lay on, put on some music, take your time and don't scratch the paint. There's not much room between the tire and fender, but my fingers fit. If you find your self getting pissed off just take a break.

I moved my turn signals to the rear license plate bracket. I did that because they were in the way of the saddle bags I wanted to put on. The bags are from Leatherpros. Great bags. They are quick disconnect also and come with hardware that replaces the hardware your using to mount the sissybar. SO, if you put saddle bags on in the future you may endup repeating the job.
I tried the Harley bags and mounting brackets, but returned them. I didn't like the look. Bossbags and leatherpro are almost identical. I think the bossbags were a little smaller.
