I was wondering if anyone knows if there's some sort of kit or website whereI can order EVERYTHING I need for putting 16 inch apes on my 04 sporty. Im not the best when I comes time to figuring out exactly what I need so if I could get a kit or something like that that would be perfect. Im not the best in fabracating anything up either so having it work/fit like it should isa big deal to me.

I need these kinda bars cause my drag bars are just to hard on my back......Ive sat on a bike with apes and it felt like it would be a better fit. Any other opinions?? Is or isn't it more comfortable?

 

Nope, you're gonna have to piece it together. There are a few people with 16's on here that can probably hook you up with all the info you'll need though.

 

A couple of companies that sell parts on ebay claim to have kits. You tell them how tall of bars you want and what year/model your bike is and they send you the whole shebang. Me personally though, buy the bars you want/like. Have a friend/wife/SO etc... hold them in place. You run string for the throttle, clutch and brakes. Measure out the string, order new lines/cables in length measured out.

The first two items are from HCCC. I plan on ordering from them fora set of 12"s & SS braided cables.
