RE: Warm-up - Enrichenment
'Miss Scarlet' is a '93 model. As some may know, the older Sportsters need to be warmed up slowly to keep from blowing rocker box gaskets and/or base gaskets.
Guess what? I'VE DONE BOTH!! Had to learn the hard way.
Now I have a temp guage in my oil tank. I crank it up, and let it run till the guage gets up to 100 degrees F.
No more blown gaskets on the rockers or base!

Ahaaaaa. I had taken the oil temp gauge off the wish list cause it seemed frivolous. Now I have a reason to add it back.
