Default turn signal relocation

Just received my turn signal relocation kit from J & P Cycles.

I was wondering, I don't have my service manual yet, in order to get the turn signals off the bars what is the best way to do this.

Do they just turn off or is there another way.

Thanks for your input.

There is a hex type screw in the switch housing, loosen that and the signal will pop out.
