Ventilation and light weight are why some helmets cost $75 and some cost $600. I've had the best luck with SHOEI. I've heard that Arai helmets are fantastic, but they don't fit my head right. Stick with one of these two premium brands and you will get what you are looking for, along with the best possible protection you can buy.

I don't have personal experience with anything except my HD 3/4 Jet (hate it).... but I frequent a website that reviews gear and I value their opinions. The first one is rather flashy and might get the cr@p beat out of you at bike week, but the second looks really good to me.

just thought I'd break the Shoei / Arai love fest up a bit =

I just got a HJC CL15 but with the weather so cold I can't say how good the ventilation is. I do like the helmet it is DOT and Snell approved.

I have a KBC Force RR Blade 2 and it flows air better than the old Bieffe I had. The only time I have ever gotten hot in the thing was last week on a 90 degree daysitting stopped in traffic for an hour.I only have two complaints about it; that the tabs to open the top vents are kind of cheap and the way the visor attaches and detaches is awkward. But I picked it up on here for $75 so I can't really complain.

I have a matte black Scorpion EXO-400. I like it but I don't know how it's gonna be in the summer. It has 1 big vent in the middle of your forehead about and on both sides of that one there are two smaller ones. Thechin guard partof it has4 big vents on it too. Also, there arethree vents on the back of the head too for flow. On the insidebehind the visor at the top there are a bunch of ports where air flows onit to keep it from fogging up. It works really great but it doesn't stop my freakin glasses from fogging up! lol It's also DOT and Snell approved.

I have had multiple brands of full face helmets. By far the best i have ever had was an Arai Quantum. Or the RX7 depending on your head shape. They are expensive helmets like 300-600 bucks but like the old sayin goes.....you get what you pay for
