Default Weird noise on startup

Hi guys i had a weird sound today when i restarted my bike after riding.Heres how it happened i have had a problem adjusting my idle just right its an 06 so its carbed.I get it adjusted to where i like it stays that way for a couple days then it speeds up on its own only when motor is up to temp.So i go riding today come home and its idling high so i shut it off to back the idle out just a little bit when i try to restart it makes a loud high pitched pinging sound and a big puff of black smoke out of pipes.Shut it off it did it again then been fine ever since any ideas on what this could be???

It sounds like a flooded condition to me. If the restart was right after you shut it down because of high idle, my bet is that the cylinders sucked in more gas as it shut down and the restart ignited, or "exploded", the excess gas causing the "...big puff of black smoke out of pipes".

I don't know enough about fuel enjected bikes, but I do know on cars that the computer will adjust the fuel flow for best performance not for what you like.

Flodded condition as stated above. Wring out the motor a little before you idle it to park and the rpm's should be right where you want it.

How much is speeds up?
Could this also be the throtle adjuster at the grip being out of adjustment/moving?
