I bought my wife and kids an old 80cc dirt bike to learn on and she just took the saftey course last weekend and passed with flying colors, now she's slowly starting to ride her Sportster 883C around, its a little more then the Buell Blasts they used in class but she's handling it pretty good. Start with something small!
never let someone who doesn't know how to ride, ride your bike you put money into.
if i teach a friend or someone, i let them use my 80cc bikes i build myself

yes, I run Avian Cycles in Rosemead, CA. were still getting everything together, so i mostly build for the locals. i dont ship or transport these yet. the guy in the back of the picture is who this bike was made for, he was setting up his bike rack to take it home.
