Yep there is a time and a place....but loud pipes save lives ......for me the louder the better....

"With great speed comes great responsibilities" or sumthin' like that. The same with great noise.

 

I like loud, fast, but theres a time and a place for it. Just common sense is the order of the day.

 

I spent 22 years in Law Enforcement. Now and then it's nice to cut loose, twist the throttle and hear the motor roar to life. I don't do it in a residential neighborhood, I don't speed excpet when the desire hits me on the open road. To many people automatically assume that I sit outside my house and rev the motor and blast through the local school zone.
I live very close to the MMI campus in Phoenix and by far the worst offenders are the sport bike riders. Absolutely lacking in common sense. Drive at unbelievable speeds and do outrageous stuff in crowded traffic.

 

Well, All I can say is I like my women like I like my bike ~ Fast & Loudwhen you get on!
No I'm not being sexist ~ but if you take it that way ~ not muchI CAN DO ABOUT IT ~ It is what it is ~

And my point is I'm sick to death of these punks on their Crotch Rockets Whizzing by me doing 90 on a wheelie ~ So folks young & old ~ when that kinda shitola happens I crack the wick and let ride ~ And I understand where some of you folks are coming from about loud and residental areas etc... But as long as I pay my own Insurance ~ Pay my own Taxes ~ Have to wear a stinkin' helmet ~ I'll ride the hell outta my damn Scooter smoke my cigarette's ~ ClubBaby Seals ~ Tear off my CatalyticConverter~ Stroke my motor ~ and **** on the daisieson the side of the road ~ that my tax dollars help pay for~ and if pisses people off then so be it !! They've taken damn near everything else from us for CHRIST SAKES!! I make this promise ~ when the time comes and they try to take our guns ~ and put a stop to gas powered engines ~ I'll be the jackass you read about in your evening paper ~(which will be printed on somekinda plastic) that went down shooting it out at 150mph ~ it's whats wrong folks!! I'm not saying go postal but for christ sakes get pissed offlet's start protesting withour Harley's at ever gas station across the country ~ pile up 20 or 30 scooters at ever gas stationwe can and every 15 minutes we start-em' up and rev them for 10 minutes post a few signs and do this every Saturday for a month ~ then go to the local Courthouse and do the same thing every Monday morning for an hour ~ I'm mena I don't know ~ these are just thoughts ~! That give in mentality chaps my ***! That's what they want! Folks $6.00 a gallon is around the corner!!Doesn't anyone care???
