Default Change from forward to mid controls?

How diificult is it to swap back? I'm finding lots of "forward" bikes, but I want mid. Also, if the owner bought it that way, what parts would I need and how much $ ?

Some guys swap from mids to forwards and sell their mid-control hardware in the classifieds on this site - check it out.

You can swap back to mid controls easily. Based on posts here, most people who change the controls are going from mids to forwards, so you should be able to find someone here who has a set for take-off mids that they would swap for your set of forwards if you post up a request.

All good to hear. So if I find I nice bike with forward controls, I won't let it deter me.

Thatis an easy swap. I have a buddy that went from forward controls to mid. Pretty simple, and as was said, you can probably find the hardware for mid controls in somebody's "take off" parts pile.

No problem I did my Custom. Bought all the parts off e-bay for less than $70.00
