Regarding installation, since the cooler is bidirectional, I would put the oil into the filter on the high side and draw it into the motor from the low side. Sort of like a radiator in a car. Provided, of course, that heat rises where you live.

I have a cooler on my 05 eg,but I am not sure I want to put one on the 07 sport yet,I have the extended warranty and run syn.oil, have all reciepts,I think I might just run it to see what kind of life I get out of it without the cooler, there is alot of them out there with no coolers and no apparant problems that I have heard. The one thing I did though was to put covers over the oil lines on my eg,because after a little time the lines swelled up and were rubbing the frame, one line was actually stuck to the frame, and there was plenty of clearence when I first installed it.
