Default Real sound of pipes

I have checked out the videos posts to hear the sound of the different pipes, but I know it is not really a true sound. Right nowI have the stock pipes with the baffles removed and the BCT baffles installed. It is a very good sound, but I am curious as to the sound of some of the other pipes I have seen on here. I was next to a guy the other day that had a great sounding set of pipes (extremely deep, with no raspy sound at all), but I was in my truck and before I could get my window down and ask him what he was running he took off. Anyone with V&H short shots, or some of the other popular pipes live close to the Austin, Tx. area?

I don't know if you listened to my video but I have Thunder Monsters in my 2" pipes and have yet to hear a bike that sounds better. BCT baffles sound as good as anything out there. Save the $500 bucks. V&H short shots have style for shure but they won't sound as good as what you have now.

Cool Thanks! Are your BCT's the ones that are installed where the head pipe meets the muffler?

Try to get a set of SE2's. I have always found them to have the best, classic HD sound. V&H sound a bit "hollow" to me. And the other brands, well, not so classic

I actually think that the vance and hines straight shot slip on mufflers sound a bit better and much louder than the se2's. don't get me wrong though, the se2's sound great and you wouldn't regret the purchase.... that is if you can locate a pair.
