Ok. So a wiring harness has twelve wires coming in on one side and only eleven coming out the other. Whats up with that. I pulled the cover off the harness and none of the wires seem to be connected together inside.


I don't know if harness would be the proper term.......it is a quick disconnect that goes to the speedo and idiot lights on the nightster if that helps.

 

Quite common in the auto industry.The connector/harness may be used on several models and a Nightster doesn't have what the wire would go to.
