Default Better seat on the nightster

Who has changed out the stock seat for a more comfortable one on thier nightster. What brand did you get. I have looked at corbin and mustang seats online but have not sat on any. Who recommends what??

I just put a new Mustang Tripper seat with a removable passenger pillion on my Nightster. Still breaking in the seat, but even new it's much better feeling/looking than the stock seat.

+1 on the Tripper. Just put mine on (Airscribe's pics in an earlier thread helped with the decision!) Looks good and is comfy. Not Sundowner comfy mind you, but way better than stock. FWIW, I also got the pillion, and I have a quick release luggage rack for solo riding. I had to hack out a chunk of the rack to clear the mounting bolt that replaces the stock one. Stuck a couple caps on it... looks OK.

Plysat,

Was just looking at the photo of your luggage rack. Do you have some sort of fender protector on there? Looks sharp.

Thanks! It's the HD rear fender bib

http://*******.com/5esero

The cool thing is that the Mustang pillion fits with the bib on, hopefully protecting the paint a bit.

I switched mine out with a Mustang Fastback. It is technically a 2 up seat, but I don't use it as such. It is comfortable and I like the look on the bike.

Thanks for the replies, I have another thing to consider. I have a PCIII stuffed under the seat and dynojets instructions say it may not fit under an aftermarket seat. The stock seat is tough to get on and off with the PCIII installed and there isnt any other place to put it. Anyone have a PCIII under a mustang or corbin??
