I just wanted to first thank you guys for the job you do. I know working with those type of kids can be extremely difficult. With that said.....
I am a PE and Health teacher at a school for the kids that have been kicked out of all the other schools. Basically these kids are 1 step from jail and have been court ordered to our program.
There is also another teacher who has a bike but it is a Yamaha. The kids give him crap about me having a Harley I ride every day and why does his bike sit in a garage at his parents house. This really pisses him off because he loves to ride and can't because the insurance is in his parents name and they won't let the bike to his house till it is in his name but he can't afford it right now.
There is also a therapist who has 2 Harleys a Sporty and a Springer. He road the Springer to work yesterday for the first time in the 3 years I have worked there. I got the bike in December and have ridden it just about everyday since. There is also another guy who works there that has some Harley's. He talks a lot about them but said he will never ride them to work.
I had a Science teacher in high school that rode in the spring he was like that guy from Feris Buller's Day Off. "Buller....Buller....Buller" I loved that guy.
