1974 Sportster will not start
I have a 1974 Sportster that ran just fine until one day it started clicking when I hit the ignition. I charged the battery and started just fine. The next day I went to start it and just the starter is spinning. I checked all the connections and the starter solenoid and nothing still. I would appreciate any help I can get.

try the IH forum.......pretty dry bunch there, but lots of knowledge......lots of folks on this forum wren't around yet in the IH days, let alone give advice......check out a guy named pinion over there,,,he's good
