The way I look at things, as long as people leave me alone and stay out of my business I could care less what they ride, what they wear, or what they do.
Even if I might not understand or agree with their actions it's not my business.
But then again, I have more important things to worry about.

And hey, maybe those guys with the expensive choppers paid cash??? Ever think of that??
There are a lot of wealthy people in Florida, and some might buy a chopper if they want.

Closest thing I ride in to flip flops is converse all stars, which isn't much more protection haha... I wore shorts last week when it was some random 80 degree day but only in the city and they sure as **** weren't nut hugging tan shorts. Most of the time its my steel toe Chip work boots and jeans with my HD leather jacket... I'd rather stay in my skin.
Everyone has a choice in what they wanna wear, they'll figure out how awesome flip flops are for riding when they put their foot down and get a toe ripped off in a groove in the pavement coming to a stop sign or light. Or even have that thing that goes between their toes jam into their foot, sure that'd feel great too.
