I have a saying There are those that have been on the ground and there are those that will be on the ground. I have been there twice first one my fault second one Oklahoma pot holes got me. I was not wearing flip flops, did have a helmet that saved my *** I ground the back of it through the paint into the fiberglass.

 

So my Birkenstock's are OK then as they are not FlipFlops.......[&:]........They are leather....

 

Yep I had quite a few dumps in Okiehoma. The worst one was on Christmas Eve when I hit a patch of black ice and was dumped off the bike then skidded down Western street in OKC. I slid about 50 feet or so down the road. Luckily I had a full face helmet on at the time because the chin bar and face shield were messed up pretty bad.
There was a cop nearby that stopped to help me up. Thank God I didn't have any flip flops on or he might have thought I was gay.
