Bike lugs when starting off in first gear?

RE: Bike lugs when starting off in first gear?
It is a wet clutch. It is not like your car. Ride that SOB until you get the friction zone down. Practice rocking the bike backwards and forwards when you are at a light by squeezing and releasing the clutch. Learn the friction zone like the back of your hand and you'll be OK.

So last night I adjusted the primary chain (was about1/4" loose) I also adjusted the clutch and and the throttle cables. She is tight with no slop on the throttle, its so much better now with the adjustments and slipping the clutch!
Thanks everyone for all the information.
