Well...a little MORE done, lol. At least the frame swap and new tank n ****. BTW...I finally decided on going with a "black rust" theme and line-x on the frame. We're letting surface rust build, rubbing charcoal powder into the bare metal, then flattening out where the cat's head is gonna go with a dremel and re-painting it on the new tank. It'll basically look like rusting iron on the tank and fender...SAWEEEET!!!! [8D] I'm also gonna have the "pinstriping" done with gold leaf before it's sealed and use all brass fasteners with copper oil lines. I'm seriously effin stoked on this....I hate being patient and waiting lol.
EDIT: I've also devised a kickass mid-control tank/jockey shift setup that I'm gonna run as well. Reversed forward mount shift lever, steel dowel shifter bent and molded to hug the bike and running up near the tank. I'm also going to rear brake only and cleaning up the front end...I never use the front brake anyways. And even then, for the rear I'm gonna pick up a Flyrite Sprotor.
This thing's gonna be bare bones as bare bones can get once it's all done. I'm even thinking about going oil in-frame just so I can have one less thing to worry about and just run a dummy tank to hide the battery. I love the look of the Sucker Punch H-Bomb oil tank, but hiding the battery on an electric start is gonna be too much of a bitch to make it look any good.
