Anybody think the fork gaiters from a Nightster would look good on other Sportsters or am I all alone on this one? Any guess on how long to install? 2 hours sound about right?

 

I have them on my 1200R - yes it took an hour or so. I like my bike better without them, but I ride on mud and gravel to work (2 miles of it each way) and my fork oil got dirty very quickly. So I put the Nightster boots on. They leave an inch of fork exposed, but do seem to keep the grit out, thus saving my fork seals.

 

Mind if I ask what price range this was?

I'm interested in doing this myself to my 1200R

 

I love em. Mine fit perfectly. They're only like 25 bucks for a pair from the stealer...cheaper than I've seen for that style on the web.
