IMO, the Blast is a turd. They named it correctly "Be Last". It may make a fine bike for parking lot training, but that is about it. I have a buddy that just had to buy one for his wife when they first came outbecause it had the Buell name on it. It was way to small and way too underpowered for the average sized adult.

Just out of honest curiosity, do youknow how the Buell Blast (500 cc) compares to other engines in it's class? Like the Suzuki S40, the V-Star 650, or therecently discontinued Honda Shadow VLX withthe 600 cc motor? How does it even compare to the Shadow 750? What would you figure the top end on a Buell Blast would be, seriously? I've heardof severalpeople getting a Honda Rebel 250 up past 80 mph. It certainly didn't LIKE those speeds, but it attained them, nonetheless, according to several online user reviews of it. I was just curious about the specific experiences of the Blast compared with, say, a Suzuki S40 thumper?
