Default Is trans lubricant & primary chaincase lub same?

I'm new and about to change the transmission oil.

The owner's manual 1991 1200 XLH recommended service at 5,000 miles states (among all the other inspections):

Change primary chaincase lubricant and clean magnetic drain plug.

Change transmission lubricant and clean the magnetic drain plug.

Question: Is this a separate job? Or if I'm filling the transmission am I also filling the primary chaincase at the same time?

Confused.... Thanks for the answers

This is the same job. The trans and primary share the same oil.
