So should I order the size I know I wear or order a size bigger so they fit over pants I am wearing.

I'm assuming they advertise the size you actually wear and that they will fit over pants.

i.e. I wear a 32 jean so I should order the 32 FXRG overpant.

 

The sites I've looked at for overpants usually say to order 1 up from your regular size.

 

leather pants... are you serious? did you get a night job to help pay for the bike? leather pants are for boys town... not bikers

 

Or for people who don't like looking like a Vietnam War casualty after a drop...

I don't know about you, but I tend to enjoy avoiding injuries.

 

Just get a pair of chaps....

Not leather pants. Leather over-pants. They wear like ***-less chaps, but cover all the area. That way, when you get to the destination, or bar, you can just take them off, like chaps. I haven't gotten a pair yet, but they would work great, from what I hear. And, being FXRG, they are made for riding and are weather resistant. They also can attach to your FXRG jacket to make a onesie, just like the pajamas you used to wear as a kid.

It's not what you wear, it's how you wear them and where you wear them

Go wear your chaps to "Boys Town" and see the reception you get. Wear your chaps or leather pants to a regular biker sort of place, different reception. Or, since you'll be well protected, just keep riding.

Seriously....pants/overpants will protect you better than chaps. And being able to zip them to the jacket is important. Look at what the serious sportbike riders wear. We may make fun of their colors and such, but those guys take protection seriously.

If you want to lose weight in your butt and don't want to spend the money on liposuction.....wear the azzless chaps and high-side yourself. It'll shred off the pounds in an instant.

Good thing I found out now that riding a harley is a fashion statement.

Anyways, I am getting them because I am going from Arizona to Milwaukee for the 105th and need somthing with some protection.
