Default Bike lift jack

Well, budget constraints have led me to settle for a bike Jack instead of a lift table (for now[8D]) and I have been scouring the net for an affordable yet sturdy looking lift.
Obviously the Harbor freight yellow Jack is out of the question. It even looks chinsy in the pictures...
I have heard good and bad about the Sears jacks, and the Larin lift looks like a POS for the $99 Farm & Fleet wants for it.
I am thinking on buying this one http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...ategory%20Pagefrom Northern tools. They have a store about 10 miles from my house.
It looks (I know a pic is just a pic) to be the most sturdy and I like the position of the tie down hooks and it seems to get good reviews (with the exception of one disgruntled customer).
DOes anyone have this lift and/or had any experience with it?

I've had no issues with the Harbor Freight jack. I think a $70 jack is a $70 regardless of where you buy it.

I found a Harbor Freight jack on Ebay and put in a low bid, like $5.00 if I remember. It turned out I was the only bidder and so I now own the yellow jack. I thought the worst and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't leak, sits low to the ground, and for my use, it is just fine. Yes I would like the bulldog but way too much.

The minimum height on the norther tools is higher than the harbor freight one. It will pose a bit of a problem to consider.

Yep, that minimum height of over 5" is probably not going to slide under most Sportsters. Even with the Sears jack, I have to roll the bike up on a couple of 1 x 4 pieces of wood to get the jack under the bike. But I have the Low, so it's a bit less ground clearance than other Sporty models.

My Larin jack slides right under my scoot even with the lowering I've done to it, and I do not need use the blocks of wood for the tires/stand.

Trash- I hate to sound like an A-Hole here, but.....
I do not think I would go fora K-Mart special for a lift. Between the girlfriend's S/G and my scoot, a hundred and something is a he!! of alot cheaper than finding a ride on the floor of the barn some morning. Just my thoughts.
I have the Sears "yellow" jack and am very pleased.
Just my thought.
Best of luck no matter what ya decide.
