You could check out the Peacemakers by National. They're adjustable with the quietest being just a bit more than stock. Fully opened they make a good sound but aren't overly loud.

I have a set of Screaming Eagle II for sale that I just took off my 2006 1200C. They are too load for my quiet neighborhood. I went back to stock for a while.
