I don't like the HD one, it is a little too long.

Thanks for the replies! I will order the HD setup and see how it looks. I'm glad to know they can be cut down successfully though. HOTLAP-- I can't help you out on that but they sure do look good. I can only find one HD version....
Woah there, don't get carried away. They can be cut down, but it isn't that easy. They are a hollow tube that steadly gets smaller till the tip when they are flat where the mounting bolt attachs to the turn signal itself. If you cut them short, there is nothing to hold the mounting bolt. I jammed a thick washer in the tube all the way till the tube got small enough to hold it tight. Then I filled with JB Weld and maked sureI could still get the bolt through. They are solid, but it's not the best option.

If the dealer wasn't 40 miles away and they were not closed when I got ready to put them on, I would have just returned them. But I was too lazy and wanted to ride.

There are some better options. I know the long Harley brackets are horribly long, they look like something you would see on a rice burner.

OK... I talked to my dealer and finally got the one guy in parts that knows something, he said the HD ones are so ugly they always sell the Doss ones with their dealer HD logo sticker on the box.
I searched and found them in the Doss catalogue on line, link attached. (at the bottom of the page in the middle row, part # 09148 for 39mm forks)
I highly recomend them they fit nice and are good quality, my only complaint is that you have to tighten the signal nut before installing them and it's trial & error to get both signalseven and level.
I can take a close up pic of them installed if anyone wants it.

I just wonder if those will clear my HD quick release windshield?

That I don't know about, you can mount them just below the lower triple tree instead of above if that helps.

Got mine at a local shop. Made by drag specialties. May find them on ebay as well. $30 and work great.
