Other than that, I don't find the quality of much of their other stuff worth the asking price, and I'm not going to pay 3X what something is worth just because some factory (probably overseas) stamped "Harley Davidson" on it. [8D]
That's why I try to only buy from the HDoutlet store in Sauk City, WI if I decide I need any "Harley gear". A $50 button down shirt costs $15 and a $20-$25 T-shirt costs $8-$10. The ol'lady's new Boots that were normally $115 cost $69. The boots Ihaveworn daily for the past 4.5 yearsthat were regularly $110 cost $55.
It certainly pays to shop around.
Good point, and I didn't realize they had outlet stores in which you could get stuff at realistic prices..

Yeah they are out there but they seem to be a well kept secret...

An HD Outlet store? What the hell is this world coming to when Harley has an outlet store where prices are normal?
They don't carry bike parts there too do they?

Edit: Is this the place you are talking about? http://www.renegadeclassics.com/

If you think about it, we are American Icons. Open up the throttle, hearing that Harley growl, knuckles in the wind. We're a symbol of American freedom. Don't worry about the lifestyle man, treasure it. You are the American Spirit personafied.

Piginablaknet, This is the store I am talking about... http://saukprairiehd.com/eshopdetail...tlet_Store.htm

The online store seems to suck but in person, the outlet store has all kinds o ****. Sorry but I have never seen Parts with the exception of Saddlebags and tool pouches.

I have been to Renegade Classics in New Berlin WI. Some of the stuff is OK some is junk.... you get what you pay for at that place http://www.renegademilwaukee.com/

One of my Christmas gifts was a HD coffee mug, with a packet of "Harley-Davidson" Coffee....go figure. I haven't tried the coffee, figured it was probably freeze dried HD motor oil from Citgo.

When we were atthe Collier HD dealer a few weeks back on a ride, I saw a new HD product that cracked me up. It was a HD disposable camera and on every picture that it took it would say Colliers Harley Davidson on the bottom of the picture. Talk about lame.
