Loose left handgrip
Sorry in advance for whats probably a dumb question.
A couple of weeks ago I had the bike booked in for its first service and to install a few new items such as sissy bars back rest with additional running/brake light. Some Kuryakyn mini boards (passenger) and the Kuryakyn ISO handgrips.
When I picked her up the dealer warned me the glue hadnt set on the left handgrip yet but it would be ok just to be gentle on the ride home. I was, but the left grip is still loose. If I put any pressure on it with my hand it will turn slowly.
The dealer isnt really conveniently located for me to take it back easily. I'm guessing the grips are just slid on with glue on the bars. I'm also guessing the glue used is Loctite, but which one? Its a brand name with dozens of products over here?
As its the left grip with no controls Im guessing this should be an easy job to do myself? Its been pretty cold since the work was done, could that be the reason it hasnt set or has the dealer just done a crap job?
Thanks for any constructive suggestions.
