other sissy bar/back rest options for nightster?
I think those bulky sideplates from hd look terrible. any suggestions?

My wife had to have a sissy bar, so I went with the HD detachable. The side plates are still big and bluky, but the only time it is on my bike is when she is. When it is off, the rubber mounts don't stand out really and works as a place to hook a cargo net too if needed.
