Gel pad for Nighster seat ??
Any Sporty riders here ever use a "gel pad" on their stock seat, and did it make any difference? I am considering buying one for my Nighster (stock seat), but they aren't cheap, so I want to hear from people as to their experience with them. I have one friend who rides a Softail Deluxeand uses a gel pad and swears by it for longer trips, but I'd like to get more opinions. AND if anyone can suggest the best place to buy them?
Thanks in advance!!

Gel is one of those things that SOME folks swear by, and others find painful. I find gel pads to feel good at first, but after a short while, I get a lot of pain. Firm saddles work best for me, but that is one of those things that is very personal. I sold my gel pad because of the pain issue.
Sheepskin pads work well for me, too....but they look funky, if that matters.
Maybe someone can lend you one for a day. A good two hour run will answer the question for you, in my experience.
